The Story

A portrait of a storyteller working in systems.

The short version is that I help ambitious brands communicate clearly, grow strategically, and build community. The longer version is more interesting.

I

Community — BCP Origins and the gravity of belonging

With BCP Origins, I architected one of Nigeria's largest storytelling-focused gatherings — growing it from 120 people to 6,000+, raising over ₦70 million in sponsorships, and expanding programming across multiple states and abroad. I learned that communities are not audiences. They are ecosystems of identity, and they only compound when belonging is treated as the product.

II

Practice — communication as architecture

Working across communications, marketing, and growth, I began to see narrative as architecture. Stories are load-bearing. They hold up brands, products, communities, and the trust that moves money, time, and attention. I learned to design messaging the way engineers design systems: with intention, hierarchy, and feedback loops.

III

Scale — fintech, cross-border, and the weight of clarity

Inside fintech, I managed customer portfolios worth more than three billion dollars and led communication systems for cross-border payments. I learned that in regulated, complex industries, clarity isn't a stylistic choice — it's risk reduction, retention, and trust. We rebuilt onboarding and lifecycle communication, lifted conversion by 50% year over year, and turned operational chaos into compounding advocacy.

IV

Community — BCP Origins and the gravity of belonging

With BCP Origins, I architected one of Nigeria's largest storytelling-focused gatherings — growing it from 120 people to 6,000+, raising over ₦45 million in sponsorships, and expanding programming across multiple states and abroad. I learned that communities are not audiences. They are ecosystems of identity, and they only compound when belonging is treated as the product.

V

Now — at the intersection

Today I work where storytelling, growth, technology, and culture overlap. I help founders communicate vision, fintechs translate complexity, Web3 brands build narrative legitimacy, and institutions design ecosystems of advocacy. The throughline is the same: build meaning that earns attention, and systems that turn attention into trust.
